What do STEINEX EXPRES hot dog products contain

• The products of the STEINEX EXPRES HOT DOG concept are composed of high quality hot dog sausage(hot dog classic or hot dog spicy) with a high meat content and fine bread. All this iswrapped in foil and labelled with the ingredients.
• Separate collection forms STEINEX EXPRES VEGGIE SNACK – trendy products consisting of a meat-free snack (plant-based products) and bread, packed in special foil).

How to prepare STEINEX EXPRES hot dogs?

The products are delivered frozen, individually wrapped in special foil.
The preparation process is as follows:

• Remove individual pieces from the carton and place them in the refrigerator at a temperature up to 7°C. The product will be thawed in about 6 hours.
• Heating the product:
  • Heating in a microwave oven without removing from the foil
  • Heating in a paper dish after removing from the packaging

Pierce the packaging with a sharp object (tip of a knife). This prevents the packaging from pressurizing with steam that forms during microwave heating. Place the product in the microwave oven and set the power to 700W. Turn on the microwave (without grill or crispy effect) for 45 seconds. Remove the product from the packaging, add dressing, and serve.

Remove the dish with the product from the packaging. Place it in the microwave oven and heat (700W / 45s). Add dressing and serve.

Additional information

1) Thawing procedure:

• Thaw products at a temperature up to 7°C (standard refrigerator) for about 6 hours.
• After thawing, the products do not require any further preparation.
• A small amount of moisture or condensed water droplets inside the packaging with the products after thawing is not a defect. This water is released from the surface of the product during cooling and freezing, appearing as fine crystals under the packaging after freezing and turning back into liquid form after thawing.

2) Common handling errors:

• Heating for a short time or at low power: The product is cold or lukewarm, the hot dog inside is cold. If the recommended power (700W) and heating time (45s) are not sufficient to fully heat the entire product to a serving temperature of 62°C (in the core of the product - i.e., in the center of the hot dog), we recommend testing heating with a different combination of power and time on the given device so that the core of the product reaches a temperature of 62°C or higher.
• Heating at higher power or for a longer time: Leads to visible changes in the surface of the bread (darkening) and cracking of the hot dog. The hot dogs are peeled, so there is no risk of "explosion" and tearing of the packaging and potential burns to the handler from hot juice or steam, but prolonged heating will cause cracking and sensory damage to the product.
• Heating an unthawed product: If the product is not thawed, we recommend first thawing the product in DEFROST mode and then continuing with the heating according to the recommended instructions.
